You might already know that the Tour de Troit is a fundraiser for the long-term maintenance of a bike path system, the Corktown-Mexicantown Greenlink, that is a project of the Greater Corktown Development Corp. Well, GCDC’s chairperson, David Mitchell, happens to be an attorney at Miller Canfield. Lucky for us, one of his colleagues, Steve Roach, is a board member for the League of Michigan Bicyclists — and has been nothing if not a phenomenal supporter of the TdT. Sponsors like Milller Canfield are few and far between, and the event has been able to grow because of their support.
