Registration status

September 2, 2009 – 2:28 pm

We are up to 964 registrants! Wow!

Anyone registering between now and September 11 will still pay the original fee of $30 ($25 students). After that date, the price starts jumping. So even though you do not get a free t-shirt, there is still incentive to register now.

On that note, we are asking that anyone that registers from today on realize that a t-shirt does not come included with their registration. We understand that you might have just found out about the ride or that you were prevented from registering prior to the cut-off date for a very good reason, but we need to set a date and stick with it in order to get the shirts to the printer on time with a reasonable estimate of the number of riders we will be accomodating. We do bump that number up, and will be selling a limited amount of t-shirts after the ride. Thanks for your understanding.

  3. The t-shirt design, like the map route, is a closely guarded secret. One hint we can let slip: the color of the year is green! -TdT

  4. I am meeting a group of riders there. Not being familiar with the area, where would be the best place for us to meet?

  5. Perhaps just pick an edge corner of the park, like the most southeast corner, which isn’t as crowded. That would be the corner of 14th & Dalzelle.

  6. I’m new to biking. I do have a road bike and have biked up to 30 miles. Would this ride be appropriate for me?
