Volunteer Info
August 27, 2010 – 1:47 pmWe have several categories of volunteers needed: registration, ride support, food and more! If you are interested, please go to our registration page, tdt.eventbrite.com, and register via the “Volunteer” category.
Before you consider volunteering — which we of course think is a rewarding and awesome way to contribute! — we want you to know that you will be put to work. Volunteering should not be a way for you to ride the TdT for free, because it is possible that you will not be able to ride at all! And you will be required to attend a volunteer meeting about a week prior to the event.
On the flip side, we have a volunteer appreciation party about a month after the tour with a gift raffle and food and drink. So it’s not totally like a work camp…

Mary & I are ski patrolkers and have served as on course medics for the L.A.T.E Ride in Chicago for years. Does the TDT need on-course medics?

If you are interested in supporting the ride, please sign up as volunteers! We do have ambulances which follow the ride as a just-in-case precaution.
