Thanks to the SAG guy who got us to the first rest area, changed a flat tire, and got us back on the road!

Had a great time as usual. Wow this has gotten big! Many many many thanks to all the volunteers who made it all happen. The ride was fun, the food delicious. Didn’t wait in the beer line but was headed to the Woodbridge Pub anyway.

My first time on this bike ride, and had a outstanding time! The weather turned out perfect, and the ride through the city was great. Thanks for putting this together!!

Had an amazing time! Great ride! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Food was very good; thank you. In future, please allow beer tickets to be used for food or non-alcoholic beverages.

This was my 2nd Tour de Troit and I had a blast as usual! Thanks for all the hard work that goes into making this possible. The ride is quickly turning into a tradition for my family and friends. A special thanks to the crew that fixed my flat on Belle Isle! Cant wait for next year!

This was my first TdT of MANY more to come! It was a FANTASTIC time! I’m bringing more friends next year!

What a fantastic day. I went on this tour with my brother and parents, and I can’t say enough about it.
I’ve been on a different bike tour in another state, and compared to that, I was pleasantly surprised at how many courteous riders there were!! How wonderful! The police officers and the SAGgers were phenomenal. I also liked that the food lines were so quick too! See you next year!

Forcing people to split into two beer tents was a good start, but you need much more than two taps/tent to get drinks to 2000 people at a time. Aside from that it was a great event! I plan to participate again next year (and bring my own beer for afterwards).

Had a great time and can’t wait ’till next year. One bummer though, after seeing all the good things about our city, my car was broken into while we were riding. It didn’t ruin our great day, but it’s a sad reminder that Detroit is still not as safe as one would believe.

My fourth TdT – and my first Metric Century – a wonderful day and a great ride! Loved the route, and rest stops were right on time with tasty snacks and excellent food at the end!
Thank you to all who organized and worked on this fantastic family event in the D! Your hard work is appreciated!

1st timer. Thanks SAG for some help with my flat tire 1/3 into it. GREAT Event!! Well organized, well planned, well done. The ride was awesome, and thanks to DPoliceD for their help in blocking intersections and the like throughout the ride. c u next year.

This was my first Tour de Troit ride, and I guarantee I’ll do every TdT in the future! The crowd was friendly, the food was good, and the enthusiasm was contagious as city residents spread good cheer by smiling and waving from their porches as we rode by. Even the weather cooperated. Spread the word… Detroit is better than a lot of the press it receives!

This was my first Tour, and I had a blast! Thanks so much to everyone that volunteered and organized it. It warmed my heart to see everyone so excited to ride, and be surrounded by friendly people here in our city. And the outpouring of love for the DPD officers gave me goosebumps as they rode through the park after the ride and everyone cheered and clapped. What an amazing experience! Can’t wait to bring more of my friends next year!

Had a GREAT time. Allmost all of the detroiters in route were super friendly waving, and cheering us on. SAG workers take a bow, you deserve it…

My first TdD. Loved it. Rode the metric Century. Didn’t have time to get the packet before Saturday morning. I was concerned that I would not know the route and could get lost. No worries whatsoever. The group all rode together. 250 of us riding in a line while keeping a very good pace. Never consulted the map even once, no need to. Very well organized. This ride gets an A+. Cannot wait to do it again next year.

Very well organized ride. I also liked the fact that the ride had a different route from last year. Yearly route changes help keep the ride “fresh” and interesting!

The Tour de Troit was a blast! I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is exactly the kind of family activity that Detroit needs.
My hearty thanks to all of the volunteers, organizers and riders for successfully pulling this off. Most of all, thanks to the Detroit Police for the excellent work that they in support of this event.
I’m sure that the Tour will have even more riders next year. Certainly this will be an annual tradition for me and my family.

First timer, thought it was a great experience. Disappointed that we didn’t get anywhere near the 30 mile estimate originally given; had my knee not been bothering me I would have gone around Belle Isle twice to compensate for that. =)
Next time please offer more in the way of non-alcoholic beverages for those of us who don’t like beer. Water, for example, would seem very appropriate at the end of a bike ride. You might try the “Society for Water Consumption” (they come out to a walk-a-thon we do for my work each year).
Thanks for all the work you put into this, thanks to the food vendors and to the police who blocked traffic for us!

I heard about Le Tour while riding in a bunch at the Tour de Livingston last weekend. Lots of raves for your ride from everyone. I’ll be there next year!

So, where are all the photo’s we’ve been promised? Is it just the one set from Achille Bianchi?

What a great day. Was not expecting a lot, but was I surprised. Easy parking, fantastic ride with a wide range of sights, wonderful people, wonderful police, and tremendous sag support. Police were everwhere and extreamly friendly. Food, beer, music closed out a great day. Nobody should miss this next year no matter if you are a beginning biker, or a pro. Thanks to all who attended and supporated.
Maybe a few more toilets along the route.
