Day-of Packet Pick-Up and Ticket Purchase AT ROOSEVELT PARK
September 11, 2012 – 12:06 pmIf you are unable to make it to Compuware or the Wheelhouse this week for advance packet pick-up, you can pick up your packet the morning of the ride. Registration opens at 7:30. We encourage you to arrive as close to that time as possible!
A ticket/confirmation must be in hand for every packet that you wish to pick-up. Student registration require a student ID verification unless the rider is under 18.
The morning of the Tour de Troit 100 tickets will be made available for $65. Cash or check will be accepted. Checks to be made out to The Villages CDC. T-shirt size cannot be guaranteed for day-of registration.

@ What time would I need to be at registration to enter the Tour De Troit the day of? Also, where do I register at?

I’m bummed too! I just found out about this event yesterday (saw a poster in Ann Arbor)– got all psyched about doing it, found some interested friends, found this site, and now don’t think I’ll come– getting to Detroit at 7:30 AM, not knowing if I’ll even get one of the 100 tickets and paying $65 if I do– that’s a few too many barriers to what otherwise sounds like a great event. I wish there was another way to handle late registration– maybe something like no t-shirts for folks registering late instead?

There’s no perfect way to close an event. We want to be sure we have enough food and beverage for everyone as well as the right amount of ride support, etc. We plan for a certain number of riders beginning months in advance, and this year it was 5,000. We will ride again 9/21/13. Hope to see you on TdT 2013.

I picked up my packet already but there was no wrist band in it. Has this happened to anyone else or do we get the wrist bands the day of the ride?

I brought six registrations for 3 couples to the Wheelhouse to pick up packets last week, this morning I realized I had three packs with only 3 wristbands in them. Can I come to the Wheelhouse tonight and pick up my extra 3 wristbands? I don’t have time to go back home and pick up copies of the tickets, but my name will be on your registrations lists. Either way, kind of a pain in the ass.

What a ride yesterday. Sure would like to have an explaination of all the bike repairs that were taking place along the route. Seemed like a lot more than I remember from two years ago. Hope this event keeps going.
