I heard about Le Tour while riding in a bunch at the Tour de Livingston last weekend. Lots of raves for your ride from everyone. I'll be there next year!

First timer, thought it was a great experience. Disappointed that we didn't get anywhere near the 30 mile estimate originally given; had my knee not been bothering me I would have gone around Belle Isle twice to compensate for that. =)

Next time please offer more in the way of non-alcoholic beverages for those of us who don't like beer. Water, for example, would seem very appropriate at the end of a bike ride. You might try the "Society for Water Consumption" (they come out to a walk-a-thon we do for my work each year).

Thanks for all the work you put into this, thanks to the food vendors and to the police who blocked traffic for us!

Hot Dog,

Soon, we promise. In the meantime, here is a Flickr set from Achille Bianchi to whet your appetite!

The Tour de Troit was a blast! I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is exactly the kind of family activity that Detroit needs.

My hearty thanks to all of the volunteers, organizers and riders for successfully pulling this off. Most of all, thanks to the Detroit Police for the excellent work that they in support of this event.

I'm sure that the Tour will have even more riders next year. Certainly this will be an annual tradition for me and my family.

Very well organized ride. I also liked the fact that the ride had a different route from last year. Yearly route changes help keep the ride "fresh" and interesting!
