: Holiday Inn Express is conveniently located Downtown, at the SE corner of Michigan Ave. and Washington Boulevard. It has a pool and features a wonderful bar and restaurant, Big City Grill, on its ground floor. Tour de Troit rooms are blocked at $89 on Sept. 23 and 24. Call 313-887-7000 to book at this rate. Bikes are allowed in rooms.
Budget: Hostel Detroit is just blocks away from Roosevelt Park in N. Corktown. It’s a friendly new addition to Detroit and perfect for students and more adventuresome travelers! Single beds start at $20, and double beds are just $42. Secure bike parking is available.
