2024 PACKET PICKUP SCHEDULE Coming soon!

GETTING TO THE RACE:

The Race Start is on Jos. Campau, just south of Holbrook at Hanley Street. Please check for construction before heading out to the race to ensure you are not stuck in traffic.

The race route will be closed at 8 AM. You will not be able to cross the barricades after this time until the entire race has ended.  We advise parking outside of the race barricades and walking to the start if you need to leave before noon. Please plan accordingly.

The Paczki Run happens in 70-degree weather or 10 inches of snow.  Please dress appropriately and know that “the Run must go on.”

PARKING:

Several municipal lots are available in the city.  Please note:  cars will not be able to pass through runners so if you are a fast runner, consider that when identifying places to park.  There is also street parking, but please do not block driveways, alleys, or park on the 5K route, as you will be towed.  We advise parking outside of the race barricades and walking to the start if you need to leave before noon.

Water, BEER, Paczek and… Vodka?

There are no water stations on the course so come prepared.

After you cross the finish line you will receive a can of still water and a Paczek.

This year in addition to a beer, we are providing a small shot of Detroit Distillery’s Paczki Vodka!  Beer and vodka will be distributed to those 21 and older near the polka tent after the run.

POLKA TENT

An outdoor Polka tent is back, with the Misty Blues performing!

I HAVE A FRIEND WHO WANTS TO REGISTER!

Registration is open online!  There will be a limited number of registrations available on event day, but we recommend registering early.

I WANT TO VOLUNTEER (OR HAVE A FRIEND WHO DOES)!

Excellent! We still have some volunteer slots to fill in order to stage this event. Please share this opportunity and reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator (info@tour-de-troit.org)

WHAT'S A 'BIB DISCOUNT?

The Tour de Troit, Inc. created the idea of BIB Discounts back in 2010.  Basically, it is our way of connecting runners to the local businesses and the sponsors that support our events.  We want you not just to run in the event, but to participate in the community that hosts it!  To do that, several sponsors have provided discounts to people sporting their BIB in their establishments. Get an idea of the discounts below that were offered in 2023.
